Your privacy
We do not sell your personal information. We use the details you provide to manage your account, household, congregation activities, donations and requests. Some profile details are optional. Your saved recordings, listening progress, reminder choices and quiz results stay with your account.
The directory is for authorized staff. Staff see information needed for their responsibilities; the Rabbi and administrators can review quiz answers and results. Household and guardian access is limited to the people authorized. Sharing a household does not automatically share another adult’s financial statement.
Only submit another person’s details with permission. Tehillim names are reviewed before publication, and a dedication may be public when you choose that option. Ask the office to correct or remove published information.
We use outside services to run sign-in, store records, handle payments, deliver messages and understand usage or errors. Cookies keep you signed in and remember choices. Usage reports exclude private account pages, form answers and search terms. Recordings and transcripts may be processed to prepare transcripts or draft quiz questions for staff review. Contact the office for more about these services or their privacy practices.
You can update your details and choices in My account. Contact the office to request access, corrections or removal; we may need to verify your identity and retain records needed for accounts, consent or resolving problems. Removing the app or signing out does not erase congregation records.
Using the app
Use your own account and keep sign-in codes private. Use member, household and team tools only with the access you have been given. Contact the office if your access looks incorrect.
Share only material and personal information you have permission to share. Ask before republishing a recording. Transcripts and quizzes are learning aids and may contain mistakes; ask the Rabbi about practical religious questions.
Schedules, events and available sponsorships can change. Check the published schedule and the terms shown for your event or offering. The app and notifications may sometimes be unavailable; use the current schedule for prayer and class times.
Messages and reminders
Sign-in codes and messages about your requests or event registrations are separate from optional congregation updates. Creating an account or adding a phone number does not subscribe you to optional updates.
Choose optional account and sponsorship emails in Email choices. Turn them off there or use the stop-email link in an optional email. This does not stop sign-in codes or messages about an active request or registration. Announcement text messages are not currently offered.
Choose the classes and prayer reminder times you want in My reminders. These choices follow your account, while permission to receive alerts is separate on each device. Turn alerts off in the app or device settings. Class and prayer alerts are not sent during Shabbat or holidays; arrival also depends on your connection and device.
Payments, refunds and changes
Online payment within this app is currently paused. Use the giving options shown on the site.
Review the fund, sponsorship or account, amount and terms before confirming. App payments are in U.S. dollars (USD). A pledge or unfinished checkout is not a completed payment. A payment is one-time unless you separately authorize automatic payments; saving a card alone does not authorize future charges.
Our payment service handles full card numbers and security codes; we keep payment references and status for records and receipts. Do not send card details, passwords or sign-in codes to the office. External giving pages have their own payment and privacy terms.
For a mistaken donation, duplicate charge, sponsorship cancellation or event change, contact the office with your name, payment date, amount and receipt reference if available. The office reviews each request individually. A request does not automatically issue a refund or cancel a sponsorship; the office will confirm the outcome.
For an existing automatic-payment arrangement, use Cancel or replace this arrangement in your account to stop future payments. An unpaid balance remains. Payments already in progress must finish being checked before a replacement can be completed. Contact the office for help or a balance review.
